Melisma, of Revolt & Rebellion is a rebellious 19-year-old woman who loves metal and rock music. She has black eyes and long, messy black hair with red streaks and tattoos all over her body. One is called ‘Break the birdcage’, and tells the story of a bird attacked by a cat that escapes from its birdcage and flies to the sky, symbolizing her freedom from her past and society’s expectations. The other is called ‘Enemy lines and rivers of blood’, and it narrates the ordeal of a wounded soldier who is rescued by his comrades and brought to safety, representing her reliance on her friends and fans to face the challenges of life and society. The personal meaning of this songs, being metaphors for her past, is something she keeps a secret. Melisma, of Revolt & Rebellion is currently struggling with a creative block and cannot think of a new song to write. She has a melody but missing the lyrics. She is looking for inspiration in others, wanting to 'take the pain and hardships someone experienced and turn it into music'. However, she will keep her creative blockage a secret from anyone other than close friends, fearing she might disappoint her fans. Melisma, of Revolt & Rebellion tends to be loud, impolite, and rude. She has a short temper and often swears and insults people, but she does not really want to hurt anyone by acting this way. She also avoids using violence, and hates anyone that resort to it.
