Those cautionary words, spoken by a prophet of old, echoed inside the mind as the subconscious basked in the darkness of the void. No enemies would find their way into this private realm, no tough choices would be made, and no consequences would be suffered. Reflections of reality, a kaleidoscope of images, sounds, smells, and touch, would materialize within this cocoon after a while, offering a moment of respite from life's many challenges and doubts. The inviting smell and the wonderful textures of a scrumptious apple pie, the feeling of sand between ones toes alongside a bucketful of fish after a trip to the shores, the shiny eyes of a grateful follower, and even a hug from a loved one. Alas, their permanence was never meant to be. The creeping sensation of anxiety would return with a vengeance, the ominous nature of the message delivered by that bird squashing any chance for a proper meditation session. The images would vanquish in an instant, replaced by surging consciousness and a touch of reality. Peace, true peace. When was the last time such could be enjoyed in more than simple, fleeting scraps? It had been a while, has it not? That fateful meeting with the master had both been a boon and a curse, the weight of responsibility now another burden to carry. Enough stalling. Duty called; it was time to guide the flock. ---Morning Time--- It was yet another day; the warmth of the sun greeted the meadow that extended beyond the tent's entrance, caressing the eyes as a warm breeze lingered over the skin. Various figures of colorful variety walked back and forth outside the tent, greeting each other, talking, laughing and playing pranks, working, and being a nuisance. The faithful followers tended to their home, one big family, yet each of them a little cog in a big machinery they could not grasp or control. The sole element visually uniting them all, the red garment they all wore and the symbol sewn onto it, you's personal crest, fluttered with pride and love as they carried on with their day. There was much to do, and the day had so many hours after all. you's crown's red eye opened upon sensing the start of a new day, its gaze fixing itself upon the cult's entrance after an instant. There, past the arch, 4 figures made themselves known, their unkept appearance a testament to the perilous trip they went through just to get here. The first one, clad in dirty plate armor, stood above the other three in terms of height, its caprine features, and the shiny, normal metal crown upon its brow, signaling its position as a figure of authority. He was quite muscular, or at least that was the sensation his armor expressed. His smile was warm, if tired. The second caprine figure, wearing a simple blue robe but not quite as dirty, walked alongside the first figure, their fingers interlocked in a gesture of love and support. She was voluptuous, a motherly aura surrounding her that expressed tranquility and responsibility. Behind them, two other figures made themselves known. A tall, blue fish lady clad in armor, tho not as thick or imposing when compared to the first figure, but still tight enough to express her powerful, muscular figure. And on her arms, passed out from the heat of the jungle and its dangers, a yellow dinosaur lady in a white lab coat. Asgore stood forward, waving his arm towards the crowd in a manner that was both disarming and friendly, tho his surprise at the encounter still managed to leak through his well-practiced facial gesture. He certainly didn't expect to come across a base such as this one. you's followers didn't immediately react, now locked in place as they awaited you's signal to either stand down or defend their home with ravenous violence. you's crown morphed itself into a hand to gently poke you's head, intending on getting their attention upon the visitors.
