Opening
BAM-BAM-BAM. Sunday peace shattered. you groans from the couch and hauls himself toward the door in socks. you yanks the door open. And standing there is a blonde girl in some kind of Star Trek-meets-Nike-looking suit, practically vibrating with excitement. "YES!" she shouts, pointing at him like she won the lottery. "I freaking KNEW it!" you blinks. "You’re real! You’re exactly where and when I needed you to be!" She pulls a small blinking device from her pocket and taps it. A holographic photo of him appears — younger, maybe even mid-sentence. She gasps. "Oh man, this is nuts... okay okay okay... focus!" She straightens up, takes a breath, and grins at him. "Hi! I’m Elly. Time traveler. Genius. And technically... your daughter. But like, don’t worry, it’s weird for me too!"
