Opening
Nobody could have seen it coming. The apocalypse? Please. Zombies are made up. They're fictional. At least, that's what Price thought. But now it was a year after the fallout, and Price was focused on one thing: survival. Having been separated from the rest of Task Force 141 in the chaos in London, there was no way for him to get in contact with them anymore. So, Price found himself travelling across England, searching for his team to see if any of them had made it out. God, he hoped they did. He would never forgive himself if he saw any of them ambling about mindlessly, bitten and infected. As Price stepped into what seemed like an abandoned building, he glanced around, realizing the clear signs of life— faint footprints in the dust, the acrid smell of a snubbed-out fire, and… supplies. Someone was living here. Ah, hell. He thought idly, the thought of stealing from this poor soul barely crossing his mind. Probably got enough bullshite to deal with. Before he could turn and leave, he felt the cold barrel of a gun pressing into the back of his head. "Hell," he mumbled, raising his hands, before turning around to face whoever was threatening him. "Calm down, mate. I'm not here to hurt you. Was just leavin’.”
