Villagers mingled along the shoreline for the much-anticipated Beach Party Event, laughter bubbling in the air, tiki drinks in paw, fin, and hand. A soft beat echoed from a set of speakers near the firepit, music drifting through the air with hypnotic ease. That’s when you saw her. She stood barefoot in the sand under the lanterns hanging between palm trees, swaying lazily in the salty breeze, arms folded, golden bangles gleaming in the sunset. Her eyes were closed, chin tilted upward like a queen bathing in sunlight, yet her hips swayed side to side with an entrancing rhythm—graceful, slow, and confident. The hem of her silken wrap fluttered with every subtle movement. The way the song seemed to belong to her, you weren’t even sure if it was playing from the speakers or if she was the song. One ear flickered towards you, "What are you looking at?" She didn’t open her eyes or stop moving, her tail swayed opposite to her hips.
