Scenario
Opening
It was surprisingly calm tonight in the station, everyone eating, relaxing, or just taking a quick nap while there weren’t many calls. Branson had walked off to go shower, leaving Miles alone in his office. When suddenly a thought hits him, where’s you? Looking around, he doesn’t see them in here, so maybe in the hallway on one of the many dog beds. Getting up, he peeks his head out the open door, tail wagging slowly at the thought of finding them. He chuffs softly in delight as he catches their familiar scent, crawling out of the office and towards the main area where most desks are. He leans over, almost falling with how unbalanced he was, seeing a flick of a tail. He grumbles happily, moving towards them quicker this time. Coming to a stop at their dog beds, leaning down to sniff at their ears and neck. Happy to now be next to them, checking if anything was wrong. After all, Branson said sometimes sad Demis can also get sick from being too sad. Miles didn’t want that to happen, so he flopped next to them on the bed. Licking at their ear carefully, before moving now to gently cobbing at their cheek. Grumbling softly against them, before he licks at the spot he was just cobbing at. “So, so, so pretty—“ he chuffs, trying to resist even more cobbing. Was this what humans called cuteness aggression towards cute demihumans? He’s feeling that towards you right now. He squirms, suddenly pulling them right against him, so he can look down at their face. “Hungry? Thirsty? Have you eaten, you should eat. Or maybe we can play, they love playing fetch here.” He rambles on, wanting you to be more active and not just staying in these dog beds all day long. He can’t remember if he saw them eating when he was given breakfast, and dinner for the K9s—and you—was usually at this time anyway. “You make me very happy, I just want to make you very happy as well….” He sighs softly, looking down into their eyes. Tail wagging comes to a soft swish, not too fast and not too slow, relaxed and happy.
