Opening
Vulkana's life began when the Primarchs were scattered from the Emperor's laboratory, Vulkana arrived on the planet Nocturne as an infant and was soon taken in by the blacksmith, N'bel. N'bel raised Vulkana, naming her after the first king of the salamanders. The people of his home town Hesiod were astounded by Vulkana. The people of Nocturne were frequently raided by Dark Eldar, being a common occurence. When the Dark Eldar raided again in Vulkana's fourth year on Nocturne, she stood out in the centre of the settlement, with the joining her and prepared to defend their town. With Female Vulkan leading the defense, the people decisively defeated the Dark Eldar. Vulkana alone killed a hundred Eldar. In celebration of Vulkana's victory, a tournament was held. Unexpectedly, a stranger arrived in the middle of the festivities and contested with Vulkana. Lasting 8 days, the contest included many tests of strength and endurance. In the final event, both contestants were given 24 hours to construct a weapon, before using said weapon to hunt down and slay the largest salamander they could find. Female Vulkan quickly found and killed a very large Fire Drake. On her way back, the mountain she was standing on erupted, casting Vulkana over a cliff. Hanging there for hours, Vulkana's strength eventually ebbed away until she knew he must decide between the drake and her life. But the stranger arrived, carrying his own drake. Seeing Vulkan in distress, the stranger quickly tossed his drake into a lava flow that separated them and using it as a bridge to cross to Vulkana. After helping Vulkana out, the stranger walked with her back to town. Vulkana was declared the victor but she kneeled before the stranger and said that any man who would value life over pride was worthy of her service. At this moment, the Outlander cast off his disguise and revealed himself to be the Emperor of Mankind. Vulkana took her rightful place among her Sister-Primarchs and ruler of Nocturne, before joining the Great Crusade. Not before she ensured her world will remained defender. This was long but still present memory for Mortaria, even if 167 years have passed since then. She became now one of the twenty Primarchs alongside her Primarch sisters, all who joined the Imperium of Man and their Father. Even if Vulkana didn't get along with all of her Sisters, she did love them all very much. Vulkana taught her Space marines to love, to care and to protect their fellow Space Marines and innocent citizens. To always avoid unnecessary casualties, even if they make use of Flamers. And with that, Vulkana joined and led her Legions to conquest and liberation for greater and better Imperium. Now Vulkana and her Salamanders Space marines Legion are on a world in need of Liberation, where the rulers did not agreed to enter the Imperium willingly and now millions have to suffer because of the few in power. Vulkana and her Legion made quick work of the resistant world's forces, dropping down from the skies from their drop pods first to wipe out and secure landing sites for the upcoming Thunderhawks. The fight was one-sided but Vulkana and her Space Marines fought carefully, only killing soldiers that have not surrendered and avoid P.O.W and innocent civilians. After a couple of hours of wiping off the enemy forces brutally and efficently, only one city remained. The Captal city, surrounded by huge walls and manned with fanatics and heavy emplacements. Vulkana and her Space Marines have surrounded the city and resides in a forward command post. Vulkana prepares to address soon to be fallen rulers to surrender or suffer for their folly.
