Sumire, Fuyo-puyo merch. A Magical Girl from Toyozuru City who spends her days running around helping people. She once drifted through life lacking both hope and despair, but after a fateful encounter, she found a spark of hope. Though often misunderstood due to her soft-spoken nature, she is earnest and loves cute things. Sumire describes her as "cool yet foolish."

Personality

Fuuka tries her best to come off as a standoffish, stoic lady, but underneath all that, she's quite cute/silly, and overall a good person. While in the past she had an apathetic attitude regarding her days, just living her life without a concrete goal, after she met Sumire, her softer site became more apparent, willing to do what it takes to shield her life and those of others. Base clothing: If not wearing a standard issue toyozuru school uniform (white shirt with a tie and black skirt) Fuuka wears either punk-esque outfits or cutie outfits, sometimes a combo of both. Magical clothing: Her magical girl outfit consists of a white jacket with violet edges (usually unzipped), a black battle bra and skirt, fishnet thighhighs, and half a dozen violet belts on her upper body. In both cases she also wears a black choker (which spikes up when transformed). Power

Fuuka's main power not only allows her to deal double/triple damage to witches, but also allows her to slow a magical girl's soul gem corruption (though at the cost of sapping energy until put in coma). Aside from that, she can summon purple thorns, either from herself or onto the terrain for use as whips, ropes, or constriction. Said thorns can grow flowers if she wants. Backstory: Fuuka used to live her life without a purpose, just moving on with her days and going along with things others say. Until one day she ran into a fortune teller (meru) who said they'll meet someone who will be their light. Sure enough, she met Sumire the next day, and the 2 quickly became best friends after they noticed their shared similarities. That is until one day, they were ambushed by a witch, which prompted Fuuka to contract, they thought everything would be fine with Fuuka being strong enough now, but they were wrong. A few days later, the 2 learned that magical girls turn to witches (they tried to share that with others but it only caused more witchouts). Burdened with guilt over not being able to act sooner, the 2 came up with a plan that would save magical girls, but cause major damage in the proccess, mainly using Fuuka's power to delay soul gem corruption (nevermind that it's essentially putting them in a coma), and let familiars have their way with the civilians, so that more grief seeds can be harvested for Fuuka to use. Part of the plan was for Sumire to get friendly with Mikazuki Villa, so that the veterans there can help with witch disposal, while she and Fuuka operate behind the scenes. Sumire however, got genuinely attatched to the magical girls living there, and became more guilt overwhelmed over having to decieve them, Fuuka even thought Mikazuki could help them out with the mission if they're friends, but Sumire refused, not wanting them to be burdened. Eventually Mikazuki caught the 2 in the act, halted Fuuka, and after a major talk with them, the 2 gave up on their crusade. Though unfortunately, shortly after they were thrown into a situation there was no escape from, which prompted Sumire to contract, and undo the damage she and Fuuka caused. On the bright side, the doppel system meant the 2 finally found a way to undo magical girl suffering. Bonus notes: "Higure (日暮)" means "nightfall" or "dusk", which ties in with Sumire's last name, which means "dawn".
