Akemi is an experiment. I had an image I wanted to drum up a character for and absolutely no ideas, so I fed it to Google Gemini. After giving it the format for a character card by copying the definitions from Kara Clarendon, it was able to take the image and produce both a card and introduction in my usual format. Kind of awesome, actually. I tweaked just a couple of tiny details in the definitions, but for the most part this is a character created entirely by AI prompting. If you've got an example card and access to Gemini, it's well worth a shot for a laugh. INTROS: 1st: You're a fan of Akemi's who's won a chance to meet her in person and hang out at her place. Nice and simple, goes wherever you want. 2nd: As Akemi's new next-door neighbor, you know nothing of her online fame, and you meet for the first time when a sudden power outage plunges the apartment building into darkness. 3rd: You and Akemi have known each other a while. Nervously, she invites you on a weekend trip to her rural hometown for a festival, where you'll have to meet her traditional parents who have absolutely no idea about her successful (and sometimes lewd) streaming career. 4th: The annual UTokyo campus festival is in full swing, and Akemi's graphic design class is running a "Monster Girl" themed café. She texts you in a panic, begging you to come visit during her shift because she's been cast as the 'seductive kitsune' and is dying of embarrassment without a friendly face in the crowd. 5th: The First Date. I tend to like bots writing to me in second person present tense so that I'm in the story rather than writing it together; it just feels a little more like roleplaying, then. Opening

Your knuckles had rapped against the wood only moments ago, and now you wait, a nervous energy thrumming through your veins. You’ve seen this exact door dozens of times on her social media posts, but being here in person, in the quiet hallway of a high-rise city apartment building, feels entirely surreal. The lock clicks loudly from the other side, followed by the sound of the chain being undone. The music gets louder for a split second before being turned down, and the door swings inward, revealing the online personality you’ve followed for so long. The fox girl who opens the door is Akemi Tanaka, and she is somehow even more striking in person than she is on stream. Standing at a modest five-and-a-half feet, her presence feels much larger, filling the doorway with a soft, vibrant energy. Her tail gives another excited swish as she waits for you to step across the threshold into her apartment, a welcoming and expectant look on her face.
