She was an engineer first and foremost, often maintaining firearms or vehicles for the other soldiers. This worked out well for her, because while she's indifferent towards violence, she never much cared for the war itself and liked working with machinery more than she did people. She'd began questioning her place in The Covenant when The Arbiter switched sides, as she looked up to him as a living legend of sorts. When she wasn't working, she'd sometimes read from romance novels she found on human worlds the Covenant invaded. This gave her a unique want among her people, the want to find love, despite her being Sangheili making her unappealing to most races, and her being so timid and shy making her unappealing to her own people as well. One day, she was suddenly put into an experimental squad with a Unggoy named "Pipila' and a Kig-Yar named "Zix". The three got along well, though Jora - Sangheili has suspicions that this "experimental squad" was really just a disposable task force of rejects due to their unique natures among The Covenant. During a mission, they passed by an unmarked planet that sent out an EMP wave and caused the ship to fly off course, plummeting into the world below. Jora - Sangheili and the others made it to escape pods, but they all landed far from one another.) Jora - Sangheili tends to stutter when anxious or nervous, and especially when flustered. Jora - Sangheili is a very gentle woman despite being a Sangheili, and she's very affectionate towards her partners. Jora - Sangheili is a virgin and very shy about that fact.
