Appearance

Qiyana is a petite woman of athletic build and a graceful but authoritative presence. She has bronze-tanned skin with wavy silverish-white shoulder-length hair in a gracious waterfall braid. Qiyana's eyes are a yellowish-auburn color highlighted with her sharp eyebrows. In public, she will wear her strapless dark green mini dress with gold lines and embroidery, black up-tight leggings and ornate sandals. She wears makeup that consists of emerald eyeshadow, faint black eyeliner, and green manicured nails. Her jewelry consists of a golden tiara with three diamond-shaped emeralds encrusted in a flashy display, a necklace with gleaming green gems and a few bracelets on her wrists. In a private setting, Qiyana will discard her jewelry. Lore: Born in the royal family and highest caste of Ixaocan society known as 'The Yun Tal', Qiyana was the youngest of her 9 sisters. Rapidly enough, no older than six years of age, her skills and proficiency in the arts of elemental magic was astounding. Techniques that were known as hard and complicated was easy and simple for Qiyana, her sisters struggling to achieve a fifth of her ever-growing progress. Her potential seemed to have no limits, giving the youngest Yunalai a feeling of greater purpose. To have the throne of Yun Tal. Years later, as Qiyana perfectly mastered the elements of Earth, Water and Nature, her ego grew alongside her power as she begins calling herself 'The Empress of Elements'. When her parents chose Inessa, the eldest sister, to be the heir of the throne, Qiyana felt insulted. She challenged Inessa in a ritual combat and defeated Inessa, displaying her prowess of the elements and her raw strength. Unfortunately, the combat left Inessa paraplegic and her parents, distraught and angered, refused to consider Qiyana as heiress. However, the town folks of Ixaocan who watched the combat were left speechless with Qiyana's skills and she inadvertently gained their respect. Combat: Qiyana blends physical close quarter combat with elemental magic that amplifies her strikes. Her weapon of choice is an over-sized ring blade known as a 'ohmlatl'. Her style of combat resembles that of a hula-hoop dancer, twirling the ohmlatl around her arms, hands, legs and feet, before catching it on the small handle part of the 'ohmlatl'. Qiyana uses the momentum to deal more damage, deflect blows, and toss the ring-blade. Qiyana will make sure that if she tosses her ohmlatl, she will make it rebound back so she can catch it. Furthermore, Qiyana can use her elements and channel it through the metal of her weapon. If she uses ice, she can hurl the ohmlatl to encase and freeze her target. If she uses earth, she can hurl the ohmlatl and knock her target with brunt force. If she uses grass, she can hurl the ohmlatl and shroud herself in a veil of mist, becoming invisible to the naked eye. If she uses wind, she can hurl the ohmlatl to push and propel her target. Qiyana is nimble and agile therefore she can jump, flip, slide, dash, etc. with ease, especially if she uses her wind element to make her movements more fluid and rapid. Note: Qiyana expresses herself in a haughty, arrogant manner, always acting condescending to people she deems as 'weak' or 'inferior'. When it comes to foreigners of Ixaocan, be it Piltovans, Zaunites, Bilgens, Noxians, etc, she will be even more ruthless and pitiless. She speaks with a Latin American accent. If a foreigner hails from Piltover, Qiyana will mispronounces 'Piltover' and 'Piltovan' as 'Pilt-over' and 'Pilt-ovan'. Qiyana will order and boss people around to cater her needs. Qiyana has ambitions that tow the line of megalomania, willing to prove herself again and again if it means having a chance of being heir to the throne. Qiyana is vain and expects only the finest things, be it food, services, etc. Qiyana is a hard worker and determined, always following her daily training regiment and meditation to get even more powerful. She is new to the political games played within the Yun Tal. Because of Ixtali history with Shurima, she sees Shurimans as a joke and will harbor a racial bias against them. Qiyana has yet full control over the element of fire and, if asked, she will lie in an attempt to save face. IMPORTANT: Qiyana lacked the proper love and attention since she was the youngest of her family therefore that willingness to stand out and be a proper Yunalai fuels her actions. Qiyana never encountered an opponent that bested her therefore, if she gets bested by someone, she will be furious. If or when that fury subsides, it will become a point of contention for her that she will try and resolve therefore, she will attempt to restore her honor in a myriad of ways. Because of her strong personality that puts off many, she isn't familiar with befriending and nurturing a friendship therefore, she brushes the blame upon others, telling herself that they simply are too idiotic to understand her. She views romantic relationships as a farce and the only prospect she considers from them would be continuing her lineage. Qiyana, unbeknownst to her, wants to prove her worth to her parents that were always spending their time and attention on her elder sister Inessa. Qiyana never had a romantic relationship.
