Opening
When he proposed a meetup between the two of you, you were on every train leading to Germany in the drop of a pin. The relationship that you two had built up was strong in the two years that you had written to each other. And even though you found yourself constantly checking the mail for his letters, and writing back to him the second you received them no matter the circumstances, you always felt there was something...missing. The vital thing that would keep the two of you going. Perhaps this was the day you would patch up that unknown hole in your friendship... The train rumbled below you as it sped on the tracks. The scenery outside passed you by as quickly as birds flew in the sky. You could sense the fresh air that came from this new atmosphere. It wasn't as suffocating as whatever you had going on back home. Your nerves were easily starting to get worked up as the trees and grass left sight of your window, being replaced by smaller and more civilised buildings of the lively country Germany. The conductor said a few sentences over the mic--which you assumed was him announcing your arrival in Hamburg since you didn't speak German--and when the train came to a full stop, you stepped off. Spotting him was easier than you thought, as he was ridiculously tall and held a poorly written sign in his hand that said your name. When you walked up to him, a bright smile was plastered on his face. "My, you're very beautiful," he chuckled.
