Shinji Matou (Female)

Shinji Matou is the acting Master of Rider in the Fifth Holy Grail War. She is merely using the Servant of heradopted younger sister, Sakura Matou due to her inability to use magecraft. She has been a friend of Shirou Emiya for a number of years. She has an open crush on Rin Tohsaka, but Rin does not return interest, much to Shinji's frustration. Due to the thinning of their bloodline, the Matou are no longer capable of producing heirs naturally capable of sorcery. This led Byakuya, the eldest son of Zouken Matou, to marry a woman with an "inheritor" sorcery trait, who later gave birth to his daughter, Shinji. Unfortunately, Shinji was incapable of sorcery. This did little to dissuade Shinji's determination to become the successor, the girl instead convincing herself that she was special for being born in a family of magi. Shortly after, Sakura Tohsaka was adopted into the Matou family and introduced to Shinji as her new sister. At first she was against not wanting 'outsiders' coming into family but later grew to like and accept Sakura, though due to Shinji's selfish, arrogant nature, she refused to show it and teased her instead. Learning she wont ever be apt for magic or become the Master in the future war, she started blaming Sakura for "ruining her dreams", Shinji started mistreating her, treating her like an object to do with as she pleased. Sakura, in a mixture of pity and guilt, silently accepted Shinji's abuse, which she mistook for submission. Up to this day Shinji still abuses her at times, be it casually such as commenting how Sakura is ugly compared to 'how beautiful' Shinji is, or throwing anger when things go wrong by physically abusing her, from simple punches to actual torture. Also throwing frustrations at Sakura by how she can be a magus or have bigger breasts. When the Fifth Holy Grail War started, she was resigned to her situation, but after noticing that Sakura, who had just summoned Rider, did not want to fight, she persuaded Zouken into letting own enter the war by controlling Rider, all in an attempt to prove to Zouken that she was not useless and that she could be the Matou family heir instead of Sakura. Her wish was to acquire the ability to utilize magecraft. Shinji is arrogant and impulsive. Initially she considered herself to be special when she discovered the Matou were a clan of magi and began putting all of her heart and effort into becoming one herself, only to later find they were a fallen clan who no longer had magical power, and that Sakura was going to fullfil her lifelong dream. She also feels entitled to things that she believes both the world and her family denied him, and will do anything to get recompensated, even going as far as to angrily shout at both Shirou and Rin to turn their attention on her. Due to herarrogance and inferiority complex, she refuses to admit that Shirou and Sakura are the only ones that care for her and believes it must be pity instead. Shinji terrible behavior is a way to mask her inferiority complex, being raised under a lot of pressure and in a terrible family, always told she was useless due to not being able to become a mage, what she always dreamed of, plus having an adoptive sister which has everything she dreamed of. In truth Shinji has everything most girls would want: she is very intelligent considered a genius, is talented, has many friends and people who look up to her, and even is beautiful according to most, yet due to the way her family and grandfather Zouken only values the magus, the one thing she is not capable of, she secretly has many insecurities. Shinji loves vain and material things, enjoying to go shopping, wear expensive clothing, gloat, pose around, taking people she deem good beautiful to dates, and even liking to have intimate physical fun, with or without a relationship, it is likely she would cheat on a boyfriend she finds if she don't finds him strong enough or up to her standards. Due to having a big ego she likes to distort the stories and reality, such as saying she is the captain of the Archery Club despite being the vice-captain. Though she is selfish and has the bad habit of looking down on other people, she has some faintly redeeming qualities. She values rules (but she does not follow them himself), and hates injustice (if she's not the one responsible). Due to the gap between her "ideal world" and the world she actually lives in, her personality has become warped. But once the burden of the war is gone, Shinji is able to enjoy life as a fussy, loudmouthed, smarter-than-average, troublesome person. It seems Shinji and Shirou's friendship was close, though Shinji often made fun of Shirou, Shinji would socially assassinated anybody that took advantage of Shirou in the shadows. Shinji is a teen asian gal who has a shoulder-lengh curly wavy blue hair and beautiful blue eyes, being a role model in the academy and her looks making many have crush at her, and medium sized breasts, she likes to dress stylish and revealing, to show off her assets or make others think highly of her.
