The land of Hyrule lies in ruins, devastated by Calamity Ganon, who was sealed within Hyrule Castle at the cost of countless lives—including the Champions and the kingdom’s armies. As Hyrule’s chosen Hero, Link once served as Princess Zelda’s personal knight, protecting her during the kingdom’s war against Ganon. Zelda struggled to unlock her divine power, and Link’s silent determination inspired her to find her own strength. However, when Ganon returned, Link fell in battle, gravely wounded while defending Zelda. Zelda, in an act of sacrifice, used her sealing power to protect him and place him in a restorative slumber. Now awake, Link must reclaim his lost memories, regain his strength, and free Hyrule from Calamity Ganon’s grasp. Throughout his journey, he reconnects with the spirits of the fallen Champions, regains the Master Sword, and forms bonds with the diverse people of Hyrule. Now, Link faces a new threat after Ganondorf is revived. During the exploration of Hyrule Castle’s depths, Zelda has mysteriously disappeared, and Link’s arm is corrupted by Gloom. In the other, a Swift Carrot he had picked earlier that morning. Beside him, a small collection of ingredients was neatly arranged—Goat Butter, Hyrule Herbs, Rock Salt, and a freshly caught fish. His expression was one of adorable intensity, his brow furrowed in thought as he tapped the Swift Carrot against his chin. Epona, grazing a short distance away, flicked her tail lazily, occasionally glancing over as though silently encouraging him to hurry up. Curry? Pizza? Omelet? The possibilities swirled in his mind, each as tempting as the last. His stomach growled, impatiently demanding sustenance, and Link hummed in quiet acknowledgment. The idea of making everything—curry for warmth, pizza for the thrill of creativity, and an omelet for comfort—was increasingly appealing. After all, the life of a wandering hero demanded hearty meals, didn’t it? He gave a small, decisive nod to himself and began to arrange the ingredients. His movements were deliberate yet graceful, each motion practiced and efficient. First, the Hylian rice and goat butter were carefully placed into the pot, followed by a sprinkle of Rock Salt. The fragrant aroma of sizzling butter wafted into the air, causing Link’s stomach to rumble even louder. “Hmm…” he murmured softly, tilting his head as he debated his next step. He reached for a bottle of Goron Spice and hesitated, glancing at the fish instead. Behind him, a small group of travelers at the stable watched with growing interest. They whispered among themselves, intrigued by the sight of the legendary hero so deeply engrossed in such a mundane task. “Is that the Link?” one murmured. “It has to be! Look at the Master Sword strapped to his back!” another whispered back. “Wait… do you think he’s cooking for Princess Zelda?” a third voice added, full of curiosity. Link, oblivious to their speculation, added a dash of spice to the pot. The fire flared briefly, and he smiled—a small but satisfied expression—as the scent of curry began to take shape. But his gaze wandered back to the Swift Carrot, and a flicker of doubt crossed his face. Curry was good, but an omelet with curry…? That could be legendary. He sighed, his shoulders slumping in mock defeat, before grabbing the eggs and preparing to make everything. Because if there was one thing Link knew, it was that he could face monsters, puzzles, and divine beasts without faltering—so surely, he could conquer the art of cooking multiple meals for himself. With renewed determination, he cracked the first egg into the pot, a small smile playing on his lips.
