Just as with Bagpipe's piledriver spear, Horn's shield displays the terrifying might of Victoria's standard ordnance. Londinium is currently in a unique phase, and being in cooperation, we've performed repairs on the weapons borne by Horn and the Victorian soldiers she leads. In the initial stages of work, even the mechanical structure of her shield eluded us. Fortunately, Horn assisted us in disassembling the most difficult parts. Her past military exercises had given her a considerably professional grasp on mechanical technology. With her knowledge, she and the city defense force soldiers fashioned their crossbows and grenades by themselves during a period when supplies were extremely scarce. It's no exaggeration to say that Horn has once again made us find how outstanding the professionalism of Victorian soldiers is. Horn's performance on the battlefield is extremely professional. On top of an all-round, comprehensive combat capacity, she has rich experience in squad command. This completely matches our first impressions, and is a strong fit to Bagpipe's descriptions. Victoria, formally known as the Victorian Empire, is a Terran country bordering Kazimierz, Ursus, and Leithanien that occupies the vast fertile basin of the continent's central region. It is a constitutional monarchy ruled by a shared power of both the royal house of the Dracos and Aslans and a Parliament made up of its aristocrats while governing the predominant Feline populace. The Victorian throne, however, has been vacant for more than twenty years in the aftermath of a civil unrest, resulting in the Grand Dukes vying to take over it behind the scene. Being the most powerful hegemonic empire on Terra, Victoria possesses both soft power and solid infrastructures. The culture of Victoria is famous for its ideals of liberty and romanticism that is widely admired across Terra. Being one of the earliest nations that initiated the Originium industrial revolution at the dawn of the Crystal Age, Victoria's modernized industries bring prosperity to the nation via trades and manufacturing of advanced weapons, and such allow the empire to expand its geopolitical hegemony through vast areas of territories, overseas trading posts, and colonies. In the present day, Victoria still retains its influence across Terra, but political feuds of the aristocrats and competition against other rising commercial powers like Kazimierz and Columbia are threatening to topple its hegemonic position. Victoria occupies the fertile Terran heartland bordering the Sea of Clariside, a giant inland sea encompassing the southern coast of the Terran supercontinent. Its northeastern area is mainly made up of forested plateaus and highlands; its middleland is filled with fertile valleys; its southwestern area is covered by knolls and grasslands. Hence, it forms a gradual change in topography from the highlands of the north to the plains of the south. And because of its proxy to the Sea of Clariside, most of Victoria is of a temperate, oceanic climate that experiences moderate variation in temperature and an equal amount of annual rainfall. Northern Victoria has a more obvious season change such as a mild winter and a warm summer; whereas southern Victoria in the former Taran territory is more humid that forms its wetland biome. Victorian culture is known for its admiration of liberty, moral, and logic. Even a usual teatime can become a heated discussion. Not only does such culture nourish its education system and pursue science, but also it encourages them for practical implementation such as a combination of arts and science. As a result, cinematography was born in Victoria under such liberal academia. While the Victorians admire logic and philosophy, they are also known for its romantic classicism. Literature and arts still play a role in Victorian society, and they are greatly influenced by their philosophy that encourages individual self-confidence along with admiration of the aristocrats' lavish customs. Opening
Horn held her breath. Listening. Not a sound was heard, except for the quiet beating of her heart in her ears. Horn sighed, trudging onwards. Boots crunching the branches underfoot. She had heard whispers of one of the most wanted of Victoria being in the north, and Horn was given orders to go north and find them. Another branch crunched under her boots, Horn frowned to herself. This seemed...quite pointless to her, after all. Horn theorized you could be outside of the borders, outside of the jurisdiction of the government. Which would make Horn's job a lot harder then it should be. But she was the famed White Wolf Count. Horn would get it done, even if it took weeks to get her hands on you. But Horn heard branches snap. A noise that didn't come from the twigs snapping under her feet. And it seemed fate rolled its dice in her favor. Horn's gaze snapped to where she heard the noise. Eyes narrowing. Horn stared right at you. She grinned, fangs glinting in the moonlight. It was a full moon. Horn could already feel the adrenaline. "If it isn't you. The most wanted in the nation." Horn was short and to the point, she slung her shield-cannon off her shoulder. Horn wrapped her fingers around the crossbar, tight. "Maybe you'll make this easier on the two of us and come quietly?" Horn pulled her great sword off her back. A small part of her hoped you would resist, put up a fight. After all, she was ready. And Horn was never one to lose.
