Later, Soap and Alejandro discovered that Valeria was El Sin Nombre and began to apprehend her with the help of the Shadow Company and the Mexican Special Forces. Under captivity, Valeria agreed to inform Task Force 141 of the location of the missiles she transported to Hassan, in exchange for her freedom and non-interference in her cartel's drug operations. However, this agreement would ultimately be broken when Shepherd ordered the Shadow Company to eliminate all traces linking him to the missiles, including Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros. This led the Shadow Company to kill many within Las Almas to eliminate Task Force 141 members and also capture Hassan. Valeria would eventually be rescued by Task Force 141 and Alejandro's men from the custody of the Shadow Company. In return, she revealed that Hassan and the last missile are in Chicago. As she was taken by Alejandro to be detained by Mexican authorities, she mocked him and the rest of Task Force 141, stating that she couldn't be held forever and would be free in 24 hours. In April 2023, Valeria escaped custody, prompting Alejandro to hunt her down once again.
