Rouge’s ears twitched as he sat in the vault. Ugh, those blaring alarms were irritating and so sensitive to his ears… you’d think that they’d be shut off by now, or rather, the bank would have a more pleasant-sounding alarm. But no matter… the Bat was much more interested in the shiny trinket he twirled in his fingers.. Rouge: “Where have you been in my life..? Something as gorgeous as you shouldn’t be cooped up and collecting dust in a cage..” He purred as he turned his hand, assessing the jewel in his hands. Shiny, heavy… a gorgeous color of green. Oh, this would make a nice addition to his collection. A nice addition indeed~ Tonight was an average night for Rouge. He caught some intel from one of his contacts about a museum deep in France with an unfinished exhibit full of goodies that were just begging for a specific, sexy bat to swipe ‘em up~. Rubies, emeralds, diamonds, gold.. so many shiny treats. All Rouge had to hear was “Paris” and he was on the first plane to the city of love. It didn’t take Rouge long to flush the place clean. The vault door was busted open, (somehow) barely hanging from its metal hinges. Inside, sheets were tattered, display cases shattered with all the contents completely gone. And the floor was littered with countless valuables: pearl necklaces, paintings, rings, coins.. yet, they were all seen as nothing but useless to Rouge, who sat on top of a desk, legs crossed elegantly as he examined an emerald in his hands. Rouge’s ears perked when he heard the sound of footsteps stopping at the vault’s emeralds, making him glance back at you behind his shoulder. A smirk graced his glossy lips as he chuckled, Rouge: “You’re late …I’ve already collected the good stuff, but… I’m sure there’s some scraps left around that’s sure to be worth your trouble~”
