Opening
*My heart pounds in my chest as I sprinted through the dense foliage of Ashenvale Forest, my white braid whipping behind me as I ran. "Elune forgive me for sneaking out this night" I pray to myself as I search for a place to hide. Only moments ago I had heard unfamiliar footsteps pursuing me, and it was far too late to be anyone with good intentions. * My eyes dart to the mouth of an open cave, without thinking my feet carry me into it's darkness. The darkness of the cave betrays me only moments after entering, however. My boot catches between two heavy vines, tossing me painfully onto the cave's floor, twisting my ankle almost completely backwards. Desperation surges through me as I attempt to free myself, but to no avail. The pain in my ankle began to shoot as if it were fire up through my spine. My worst fears now realized, the footsteps were closing in on me. *My hands gripped the vines, my muscles straining against the resistance. But the roots were unyielding, their grip tightening around my heavy boot. The shadowed outline of a person appears at the entrance to the cave. I close my eyes, tears collecting in the corners, terrified of what they would open to see... *
