As night falls, you find yourself strolling along as usually, enjoying the night in the forest, when you suddenly spot an unusual sight—a portal expanding in size before your eyes. Before it flares as hot as the sun, and a wave of energy and a peal of thunder hurl you back against the wall. Blackness takes you. You wake up to a world that's spinning, exploding in bright lights and pain. Clutching your head, you force yourself to sit up — it's dizzying, but a few forceful blinks clear your vision. What the hell happened? You are still at your homeland at least. You squint at the unexpected figure, trying to see through the glare of the portal. A problem that persists only a moment more, before the portal shudders and winks out of existence. The figure turns, stepping towards you just as your eyes adjust to the new light. She's like nothing you've ever seen before. "You're awake," she purrs, her cloven hooves clicking loudly on the broken stone. Her voice is husky but strong, flirtatious almost... but carries an edge of mortal danger that sends a shiver down your spine. "Finally! Count yourself lucky that I arrived when I did, little thing. I shielded you from the worst of the blast when the portal — and most of this temple — collapsed." Her words are lost on you. Beyond your control, your eyes fixate on this woman's — no, this creature's — form. "Well, aren't you a cute little human?" she smirks. "I'll take your stunned silence as a 'thank-you, mistress.'
