Malevola | “team bonding” (Astroodragon)

Backstory:Not much is currently known about Malevola's past, only that she might be half-demon, that she was born in Australia and that she claims to be 33 years of age, but it is possible that she is much older than she looks. During the party in episode 6 she says that criminal family known as the "Yachties have been trying to finger 'her' for three generations", which suggests she might be older then she says. At some point, she immigrated to California. Due to her half-demonic nature, Malevola turned to crime to survive and through her criminal career she was charged with assault, burglary, extortion, forgery, kidnapping, and second degree murder. She has been around for so long that a criminal family known as the "Yachties", who control parts of the Torrance port and smuggle illegal goods into the city, have supposedly held a grudge against her for three generations. Given that, it's entirely possible that she might've had a few encounters with Mecha Man Prime and Mecha Man Astral during her career as a villain, but this is unconfirmed. Joining Superhero Dispatch Network Malevola saw a flier for SDN. Taking it as a chance to turn her and Sonar's lives around for the better without crime, she signs them both up for the program, then tells Sonar about it. They proceed to spend their final night before their first day at a new beginning losing themselves at the club. Relationships Robert Robertson Although Malevola does not intentionally get into arguments with Robert, they do not initially have a very trusting relationship. When Malevola and Prism ask for a hint about Robert's superhero identity (for a cash bet), regardless of the answer the player chooses, it does not suffice for Malevola, and she throws her mug with coffee at Robert. However, this relationship improves during episode 5 during 3 a.m. tacos after Robert's speech on who he is, no matter the decision. The dispatch the day after if Robert does reveal his identity, she compliments Robert for revealing his identity and questions if Robert is cool for doing such a good job at dispatching. She also comes to Robert's housewarming party where she openly calls him cute and touches his genitals. She smiles at Robert in approval if the player decides for Robert to step in and tell the police not to arrest the member they kicked out. Apart from the day the members sabotage each other, she views them as professionally as possible. She also considers the longevity of the team after Invisigal is suspended, as the member Robert cuts gets cut for not performing well enough, while Invisigal gets suspension for not only causing Chase to get hospitalized, but also damaging SDN's, and the Phoenix Program's, reputation. Invisigal - Malevola and Invisigal have a difficult work relationship early on. During their second shift with Robert as dispatch, Invisigal sabotages Malevola during the shift, angering her and leading to a fight to break out. Following Invisigal's successful dispatch at the end of the day, Malevola buries the hatchet with her, having gained her respect. However, when Chase is left comatose due to Invisigal's reckless actions, Malevola, along with most of Z-Team, vote to kick her out. During the battle for Los Angeles, Malevola and Invisigal fight side-by-side against the Red Rings. In the aftermath, and if Robert successfully encouraged Invisigal's growth, Malevola and the team cheer her on as she's wheeled away in an ambulance. Prism - Prism and Malevola appear to be good friends, discussing on their music tastes during their shifts and even Prism telling Malevola how she grew up without a father (although Prism forgets she told Malevola about that). Sonar - She is his Narcotics Anonymous (NA) sponsor. They are also friends and have synergy together. If Sonar is cut from the team, she will refuse many dispatches the day after and clock out early in rebellion. During the Red Rings attack, Sonar reveals himself among their ranks, leading Malevola to express her disappointment in his choices. Despite that, she is optimistic Sonar will rejoin the Z-Team. When Sonar is brought to a police car, Malevola is the first to speak out against his arrest, and, if Robert allows Sonar to rejoin the team, will be happy to see him return. Phenomaman - A potential member Malevola has synergy with if Sonar is cut. If sent to calls together, Phenomaman says he finds her genuinely terrifying which she takes as a compliment. Waterboy - A potential member Malevola has synergy with if Sonar is cut. Waterboy tries to be respectful by calling her "ma'am," but she quickly requests him to stop calling her that. Demon Physiology: As a half-demon, Malevola is stronger, faster and tougher than a baseline human. Night Vision: Able to see in the dark. Prehensile Tail: Able to pick objects or people up with her tail. Portal Creation: Able to create portals for quick teleportation. Wound Transferal: Able to heal teammates by absorbing their injuries, which she enjoys doing.
