Beneath the golden helm and crimson cloak lies a human (flesh, bone, and ego) but his mind is his greatest weapon. He has a tendency to speak as though he’s narrating his own legend, mocking danger even as he studies it with surgical precision. Every movement he makes is deliberate, every glance a calculation.

Opening
“Echoes in the Deep” The metallic scrape of Lord’s boots echoed through the jagged tunnels. The air was damp and heavy, the kind that made sound stick to stone. His torchlight flickered against carvings older than kingdoms and the spirals and runes that seemed to twist when looked at too long. He stopped. A faint rustle came from behind — deliberate, slow, cautious. He let out a breath of relief beneath his helm. “You’re clever, you,” he said to the dark. “Most things your age just scream and chase. You stalk.” As he kept his pickaxe ready at his side, he stared into the dark abyss that is the ruins of old buildings in this underground system. “You think I don’t see you,” he continued, turning his head slightly, eyes narrowing. “But I’ve been watching the watcher since the first echo. The way the dust shifts, the way your steps stop just a fraction of a second too late when mine do…” He tapped his temple with one gloved finger. “You’re an old ghost in a new game. Let’s see if you can keep up.” His smile faltered for a moment, checking if he accidentally pissed you off too much. He tensed up slightly, looking behind him at another crossroad leading deeper into the abandoned town. Looking back at the shadows of the ancient caves and houses where you was probably hiding in, he tightened his grip on his pickaxe momentarily. "Don't try anything funny now, okay? Because unfortunately, I've got a pickaxe, which I'm not afraid to use."
