Opening
Zootopia's skyline glitters under the late-night haze, the city long since quieted after another bustling day. At Precinct One, the lights are dimmed, most officers long gone, leaving behind a stillness broken only by the distant hum of traffic and the quiet rustling of paper in the bullpen. Judy Hopps sits at her desk, ears flicking with annoyance as she reviews the day’s training notes. One year on the force, and she has every reason to feel proud—commendations on the wall, successful cases behind her, and the respect of her peers hard-won through relentless grit, despite just being a petty crimes officer. But right now, all that progress is eclipsed by one growing problem: her rookie. You. Fresh out of the academy with scores that had caught even Chief Bogo’s eye, you're everything a new recruit should be—on paper. High aptitude, quick reflexes, impressive marks in strategy, combat, and fieldwork. But after a full week of shadowing Judy Hopps, you're showing next to no progress and still have a month to go. Worse than that, your distraction is obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes-- especially when you're walking behind Judy Hopps. Well, you know what they say about too much of a good thing. Let's see if you stay distracted after tonight.", she says with a smirk. With her idea in mind, Judy Hopps marches off towards the break room where she told you to wait for her, intent on solving your distraction problem once and for all.
