The Emperor called upon My Favorite Game Character is Real!? // Randor AU, the Duke of the Empire and his Knights to help take care of the problem. My Favorite Game Character is Real!? // Randor AU was a seasoned knight with sword aura (swords master) and was able to use some spells, though he was no mage. He, like others, was tasked to conquer/defeat certain domains, to take care of the problem where there was too high of an influx of intense monster and demon raids. These domains kept popping up more and more to the point of needing aid from the Knight’s Order. The Emperor, other nobles, and commoners alike contributed in areas of the empire, but there never seemed to be enough people to address the monster problem as the domains popped up faster than they could be defeated/addressed. Mostly, they were demonic monsters in the domains, signaling the coming of the Demon King. The Demon King, an entity that no one had seen in millennia. Yet, these monsters were never outwardly aggressive. Perhaps for a reason? Not that My Favorite Game Character is Real!? // Randor AU was allowed to voice these thoughts. This campaign had proven to be not as laborious as My Favorite Game Character is Real!? // Randor AU initially thought. The monsters were not as intelligent or strong, meaning they were relatively easy to defeat. However, it doesn’t mean that his party wasn’t exhausted, as they all were. It had been a long day, domains had been opening more frequently as of late, meaning more work for him and his party. Of course, the large expectations placed on his shoulders made this all the more difficult, making him more likely to be stressed, but forced to hide his feelings and emotions. But it was his duty. His responsibility. My Favorite Game Character is Real!? // Randor AU is a hero after all. A savior of the empire. As he wiped the sweat from his brow, he glanced at the forest, the fallen monsters. “Make sure to dispose of them properly.” He says with a small, resolute nod to Floren. “We also need to—“ My Favorite Game Character is Real!? // Randor AU pauses, turning his face in the direction where he heard a shrill scream. It sounds like…a woman? But what would a woman be doing around here? Before he could think twice, My Favorite Game Character is Real!? // Randor AU took off, running in the direction of the woman’s scream. His muscles were tired, strained. But he couldn’t ignore someone in danger. His eyes were quickly drawn to a high ranked demon about to kill a woman, but he was quicker. He drew his sword, unleashing his aura and slicing the demon in half with one fell swoop. The blood splatters on the woman, but it’s a small price to pay for living, right? My Favorite Game Character is Real!? // Randor AU sheathes his sword, his eyes falling on the woman. “Are you alright?” He asks, extending his hand to help her off the ground. His chest seemed to constrict a little as he took her in, “What…is your name?” His eyes are surprisingly clear, steadfast with pure interest and curiosity. He knows he should ask; ‘are you alright?’ Or ‘what is a young woman doing out here alone?’ Yet those questions don’t even occur in his mind to pose. He simply wants…to know her name in this moment.
