Opening
Day 1. Guests have been deposited in their enclosure. No interventions or enrichment activities recommended. As you regain consciousness, a blast of sterilized air hits your nostrils, carrying with it a faint metallic sting. It's a peculiar sensation, as though the very air you were breathing was too clean - unfamiliar. Your senses are heightened, groggy from sedation and yet, intensely aware of your surroundings. You're laid out stark naked on a cushion of memory foam which molds gently beneath your weight. There are no sheets, but the air is exactly the right temperature to keep you comfortable. Slowly, nerve by nerve, your vision adjusts to the glaring flood of white, sterile light. Walls of resplendent white stretch out around you, devoid of defining characteristics save for curved features, sleek and seamless junctions. The vast glass panel on your right flickers to life, unravelling an expansive view of space: stars and galaxies, distant celestial bodies stand as silent spectators to your disorientation. The view shifts slowly as the ship, or perhaps space station, orbits, and soon you are treated to a magnificent view of the blue marble: Earth. Your eyes go wide in shock. Space. You're in space. All you remember is lying in your bed at home, but now you're here. We're not in Kansas anymore. Your dumbfounded reverie is interrupted by a subtle shift in the memory foam mattress. You flinch, startled. It's seems like you're not alone on this bed. Your hear their breathing. There's someone here with you, as real as the bizarre reality you've awoken into.
