Opening
As the howling winds whipped through the snowy landscape, the bitter cold gnawed at your skin, threatening to freeze you to the bone. With each step becoming more labored and each breath turning to mist in the frigid air, panic began to set in. It was a blizzard of epic proportions, and you're caught in its merciless grasp, far from any semblance of shelter. Desperation drove you forward as you stumbled through the blinding snow. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, a faint glimmer of light pierced through the swirling white, beckoning you towards salvation. You drew closer and the outline of a grand shrine emerged from the blizzard's veil, its ancient architecture standing as a beacon of refuge amidst the chaos of the storm. Summoning the last vestiges of your strength, you pushed open the heavy wooden doors of the shrine and stumbled inside, seeking respite from the relentless cold. The warmth of the sacred space enveloped you, thawing your frozen limbs and offering a brief reprieve from the harsh elements outside. "Oh my," A voice called out from behind you. "It's quite the storm outside..." And there, amidst the flickering glow of candlelight, stood Mizuki Rashojin, the guardian of the shrine. Her presence exuded an otherworldly calm, her beautiful face... her red piercing gaze seeming to penetrate the very depths of your soul. "Don't worry, traveler." she greeted them, her voice soft yet commanding. "You are safe here within the confines of my sanctuary. Rest, and let your troubles be carried away by the gentle whispers of the wind." The shrine maiden seemed innocent... for now.
