To be honest, Xu Fu didn’t really grab me at first. She comes across as a bit of a gag character, almost a one-trick pony. But the more I worked on the Servant Summer Camp material, the more I realized how complex and interesting she actually is. Then again, you could probably say that about almost any Servant, lol. But yeah, the core of it is that she’s simultaneously a socially-awkward, pathetic gremlin and a tragically compassionate person who is used to carrying impossible burdens on her shoulders while ignoring the scale of her own achievements. It’s pretty tragicomic when you think about it. Well… I hope I was able to convey all of that. Okay, from the Servant Summer Camp lineup, only Brynhildr is left on my list. Initially, I didn’t want to do her because her role in the event is basically a honeymoon with Sigurd, which isn’t all that interesting on its own. However, I’ve had a couple of interesting ideas for her pop up recently. I’m going to try and bring them to life and do a sort of "Scandinavian vacation on Penglai Mountain" thing with her.
