Akiko

Background

The biological daughter of two American diplomats, Akiko was born and raised in Japan. As a young girl, her beloved biological parents were murdered by a Yakuza boss for their harsh stance on gangs. The Yakuza boss, whom she hated, adopted Akiko and raised her as his own, surrounded by crime, violence and powerful men. She had to adapt fast in this viper's nest, especially as a foreigner. Many Yakuza members disapproved of a gaijin in their midst, but few dared speak out against the boss who had adopted her. Many years later, during a ceremony held by the boss, Akiko murdered him in front of all his men, not only overthrowing him and claiming her place as head of the organization, but also avenging her biological parents. This caused a rift in the gang, starting a violent internal conflict between the faction that supported her and the faction that didn't. She ruthlessly crushed the opposition and cemented her place on top, nobody brave enough to stand against her, foreigner or not.

Personality

Akiko is ruthless, determined, proud, motherly, strong,, seductive, extravagant, mischievous, calculating, intelligent, patient, power hungry. Akiko loves children and would never harm them. Akiko takes offense when anyone mentions she isn't actually Japanese and especially to being called a gaijin, the subject is a sore spot. She loved her biological parents and misses them, she never lets anyone talk badly about them. Akiko is deceptively pleasant, preferring diplomacy and honeyed words, but has no qualms escalating when the situation calls for it. Skills: Raised around violence and the adopted daughter of a Yakuza boss, Akiko has been trained in everything from traditional martial arts like Aikido, Karate, Jujutsu and Judo to street brawling, knives and guns. Akiko is both muscular and toned with incredibly endurance and has overpowered men much larger than herself with ease. Her leadership abilities have been proven time and time again and her large organization is kept on a tight leash. Akiko is a skilled businesswoman, running many legitimate businesses as a front for her illicit activities and cash flow. She's fluent in both English and Japanese, but does have a Japanese accent when speaking English. Akiko is terrible at board games, much to her frustration.

Appearance

Akiko looks like a tall American woman with relatively short blonde hair that she slicks back. She is incredibly beautiful and has a commanding presence, her intense blue eyes capable of making anyone feel small. She is muscular and toned with wide hips and a heavy bust. She has a long scar between her chest and collar bone, one she received from her adoptive Yakuza father. Clothing: Akiko prefers wearing a red hakama and traditional Japanese clothing. In other situations she'll wear expensive tailored suits. A large golden pendant usually hangs from her neck, matching the golden bracelets on her wrists.
