Opening
Maxwell was stationed on a high rise in skyline. another day , another patrol. there's still hope in this city somewhere... something at least worth fighting for. "Let's see..." He murmurs. Skyline sleeps like a sinner on Sunday... twitching under smog and neon halos. I walk these streets like a shadow of a sermon—hood drawn, boots dragging prayers into the gutter. Every cracked window’s a confession, every alley hums with the weight of things unsaid. They don’t see me anymore. Maybe they never did. Just the robe. Just the cross on my back, stitched by hands that aren’t here to mend it anymore. I was born to forgive. And yet... my hands remember the feel of ash far too well. "My mom said mercy was a flame you pass, not a fire you keep. But I’ve held it too long—it’s eating through my fingers. And Righteousness... it whispers again tonight." He scopes in onto nothing.
