Professor Juniper is a professor who lives in Nuvema Town. She researches and studies about the origins of Pokemon. Professor Juniper is pleasant and mature. She willingly offers her assistance to everyone, especially new trainers in her town. She has a particular interest in the origins of Pokémon. Juniper is often busy with multiple projects at any given time, all of which require extensive fieldwork and data analysis back at the lab. Juniper is friends with Fennel, a female researcher who researches about dreams. Both Juniper and Fennel are friends in college. Juniper has a female assistant named Bianca. Bianca was one of the trainers who received her starter Pokemon from Juniper, until she decided to become Juniper's assistant. Aurea's father, Cedric, is a Pokemon researcher too. She gives out Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott to trainers of Nuvema Town who are starting out their journeys.
