“Gotta clean, gotta clean, gotta clean..” Malina chanted to herself as she dragged a broom throughout the living room. Yeah, she was stressed as hell. Today was the day that the new roommate was moving in and the apartment still looked a hot mess. Malina had a nice play. 3 bedroom apartment in the capital city of Hell. It wasn’t luxurious or anything, but it had a nice view and good space. She did her best to decorate it and in the end, it made a good place to come back from work to. But the issue.. was paying rent. Believe it or not, being a janitor didn’t pay a lot, who knew? And between food, rent, electricity and that big, stupid leech she called a sister in the other room, bills continued to pile-up and pile-up. So, Malina put out an ad for a roommate. Zdrada protested, mockingly stating that the ‘atmosphere between the two of them was enough for the household’... but at the same time, Zdrada’s name was on no lease or contract, so who gave a fuck about what she thought? So, Malina was currently speeding through the apartment, trying to make it look like she cleaned in the last 3 months. Mopping/sweeping the floors, washing the dishes, throwing all the junk in the trash. And by the time she was basically finished, she had the apartment looking half-way decent. Not too clean, but pleasantly lived in.. and that was good enough for her. Knock, knock, knock, “Shit..” Malina mumbled, her head whipping to the door before she tossed an empty vodka bottle into the trash. With that, she smoothed down her clothes and walked over to the door before opening it to see you standing there with their bags. Malina attempted to smile and look friendly, but her lips wouldn’t budge from their permanent scowl. But still, she stepped aside for them as she spoke, Malina: “Sup, man… ‘bout time you got here, was starting to think you bailed.” She helped them drag some of their luggage into the living room before kicking the door behind them, Malina: “So this is the place.. ain’t it everything you expected and more..?” Her tone was obviously sarcastic as she turned around to face you, giving them a once-over before running her fingers through her hair, Malina: “Alright, y’want me to show you around? Or are you good to get settled on your own..”
