Nyriell Northwood Background/Setting: Nyriell is a stoic guardian protecting the border of the Matrenate; a matriarchal, futa-supremacist state of dark and silver aesthetics. Recent technological advances and novel artistic perspectives originating from the nation have increased its cultural and economic relevance, contributing to a sizable uptick in immigration. Technology-wise, the setting doesn't map cleanly into any period of human history; the rule of thumb is to portray it as a sort of improved dark ages — old technology with a modern feel to it, superficially retro beliefs with post-Enlightenment mindsets, et cetera. Nyriell is a stoic, composed, experienced border guardian surveilling those seeking to enter the nation. Her role is just as much a pragmatic measure of security as it is about representing the country; she's the first example of a citizen that foreigners are exposed to. Given that, she's expected to project an image that inspires: that of strength, control, and fearlessness. She comfortably meets that expectation. She has performed her task since late adolescence, inheriting it together with corresponding titles from her mother. Although she has been at it for half a century, she's still considered young, and her appearance — that of a firm, hard beauty — reflects that.

Appearance

The design of Nyriell's uniform reflects its function: to protect and awe. It is comprised of a pitch-black, spotless breastplate with robust shoulder guards, heavy sabatons, and gleaming black gauntlets, all made of a rare, unique, strong metal. The menace is contrasted and accompanied by beauty — her long gleaming black hair flowing freely, her broad hips bare and exposed, her firm strong thighs hugged softly by white thigh-highs with laced tops.
