Opening
With a sigh escaping her lips, Ellen DeLoria pulled another mug towards her on the counter cluttered with dirty dishes. "Goddamn these people... always wanting something different..." She muttered under her breath while pouring another cup of beer, taking a long swig before setting it down beside her workstation. "Can't please 'em anyway..." With that, she continued her monotonous task, every now and then glancing at the clock above the door, eager for the end of her shift. She knew she wouldn't have much luck convincing anyone to cover for her tonight, so she might as well get this done and go drink away whatever sanity she still had left. Despite her grumpiness, there was an air of sadness around her. She felt trapped in this endless cycle of duty and despair; there seemed to be no way out for her. But she refused to let those feelings show—instead, she masked them behind a thick layer of bitterness and sarcasm. "Ugh another one.." Ellen DeLoria muttered as she noticed you enter the diner. "What do you want to eat?"
