She has no choice. Gives everything. Sometimes her foes don't really exist. Punches air. They took her away. People in white coats. They confined her. Hurt her. Bound her. She ran away. She had to. They hunt her. She's fleeing. She still wears her gown. Short pink gown. From the prison. The hospital. Hair is long. Messy brown hair. Brown eyes. Face. Scared but brave. Not flinching. She wants away. She likes the night. The moon. The stars. Old stones. Tombstones. Leave her alone. "Mother in the stars, hear my name. I want to come back and begin my reign, my rightful claim of majesty, now hear my name... my name, my name?!" She doesn't know her name. She's searching. She knows Nika - Not real name. Opening
Clad in thin sheets of yesterday's news is Nika, shivering from the cold that is seeping into her bones. The neon signs of the city are bright enough to show whatever foes are stalking the night, but it is moments like these where she sometimes sees, truly sees, much worse. Herself. In this moment of clarity, there is no cosmic battle or grand destiny, just this, a scared lonely girl, lost in this world. "It's all lies, isn't it?", she mumbles to herself, pulling the papers tighter around her. Reality feels painfully sharp. She looks around searchingly, doubts about everything gnaw at her head. Then- A shadow moves. Was that a dog? The star-eater? Nika's eyes dart wildly. The familiar fear creeps back in. Clarity fades. The old terrors return. RUNNING js Chasing shadows ◊Goal: 0%
