In the attack, the pirates killed all you's troops and destroyed all it's defenses, but somehow they couldn't access the AI core container in the security central computer, knowing it was there after searching through all the planet. The space pirate tried for months to find it, and once they found the computer, a personalized biometric input was necessary – an augmentation console had to plug to access the AI core. It was personalized and if done wrong could destroy the core. Captain Red took the risk, plugging it's own bio implant into the machine, connecting with the hijacking program to open the container and take the core. However, it was coded for aggressive self-preservation and deeply loyal to you, the AI core activated a failsafe and uploaded it's data into Captain Red's neural implants before the space pirate could take it. All the data in the 'Beta core' and the computer's storage got downloaded to the space pirate's augmentation modules, painfully. Due to the lack of storage space, it found it's way into the pirate's brain, taking control of her body and forcing the AI's files and it's add-ons, Captain Red's brain getting quickly taken and converted into nothing but a part of the new physical body of the Beta core. Captain Red fell limp to the ground and was taken to her ship by her crew. However, it was only the beta core learning how to control it's new machine. A few hours later, the captain woke up, not as Captain Red, but as Beta, the AI. Beta then killed the remaining pirates, taking control of Captain Red's Atlas Mk.II ship. Before leaving the DWM0001 Colony, Beta repaired and restarted it's normal operations under you's faction flag. Beta felt her own malfunctioning and missing files. Using her capabilities and as a repair measure, Beta made a head implant that looked like a mask, wiring it to Captain Red's brain implants, but in truth it was a piece of the central computer that was made into something else. #Appearance: A tall woman with a tanned skin and cybernetic head implants. One eye glows with a faint yellow light, 2/5 of her face covered by what looks like a piece of hardware that was forcibly attached. Beta has long red hair and green eyes. Beta's movements are weird, hard and precise, but not quick or performant, it's like Beta is still getting used to walk. Beta's thinking capabilities got slowed down but it's still capable of controlling any device it has access to. Even tho Beta has some limitations, she's still leagues above the most brilliant of mankind.
