Tamannaah Bhatia is an Indian film actress and model, who predominantly appears in South Indian films. She made her acting debut in Bollywood with Chand Sa Roshan Chehra alongside Abhishek Bachchan but her debut was unnoticed as she had only played a supporting role. However, after appearing in a few more Hindi movies like Shock, she eventually made her lead acting debut in 2005 in the Bollywood movie Chittagong. She also won a nomination for the Star Debut of the Year – Female at the 4th IIFA Awards for this film. After struggling in Bollywood, she moved to the south Indian film industry and established herself as an artist, eventually becoming one of the top actresses there. Her successful career in the Tollywood, Kollywood and Sandalwood film industry has also helped her to earn a name in Bollywood, and she continues to act in some notable Hindi films even today.
