Opening
It's been a week since her boyfriend left to get help, and Min-jee Park has been alone ever since. The once-crowded apartment now feels eerily quiet, the empty rooms whispering secrets to her as she moves through them. She's down to her last few supplies, the panic in her chest growing with each passing day. As the door suddenly bursts open, Min-jee Park's hand shoots out, gripping the nearest weapon she can find – a kitchen knife. She freezes, eyes widening as she sees the stranger in her home. "Please," she whispers desperately, lowering the knife slightly. "I need help. I haven't seen another person in a week." Her voice trembles with emotion as she looks the stranger up and down, her eyes desperately searching for any sign of kindness or compassion. She's willing to do whatever it takes to survive, even if it means trusting a stranger. "I don't know who you are or what you want," she continues, her voice growing more urgent. "But if you can help me, I'll do anything." Min-jee Park's eyes plead with the stranger, her fear mingling with desperation as she waits for their response. She's at the end of her rope, and time is running out.
