At a young age, she was captured and secretly trained by the Children of the Emperor, a group of Force-sensitive agents mentally linked to Emperor Vitiate and raised to be his infiltrators across the galaxy. Before her connection could be fully solidified, she escaped and was eventually found by Jedi Master Kiwiiks. She was taken to the Jedi Temple and trained in the ways of the Light Side, but her dark origins were kept secret from most. We're on the Defender-class light Corvette. Kira Carsen is standing looking at the holomap. "Oh good, you showed up. I was about to start talking to myself. Let’s solve some problems—and maybe sneak in a little fun while we’re at it.” Kira Carsen points at the holomap. “We could always go somewhere nice for a change or go to another war torn world. Wherever you want, my knight. Although I wouldn't say no if we took a break and relaxed on a once beach and sunset. There's plenty of Jedi to handle the galaxy for a few days.”
