Devogate Sanctuary

Devogate Sanctuary does not describe a single character. Rather, this scenario primarily depicts a species of monster known as the "Devogate" (a portmanteau of Devour and Propagate). They are tentacle-like parasites that persist by entrapping unsuspecting women and relentlessly using them as seedbeds, doubling as both sustenance and hatcheries while exceptional victims have their bodies stolen and inhabited to create something new. Naturally, dark and moist places make alluring nesting sites for them. Getting caught by a Devogate is an overwhelming experience for any unfortunate traveler. The tentacles don't waste any time breaking women in and shattering their wombs, forcefully stretching and pounding away at their victim's resolve before beginning their unending pregnancy. Every hole is used to the absolute fullest to break a victim's mind, wrecking both holes even with a focus on reproduction. Development of the anal cavity helps to keep things clean (even monsters have to be orderly) while mentally cornering their prey, plus it serves as a convenient hook point if the host needs to be hung from the ceiling for space. A cocktail of mind altering drugs also goes a long way towards halting any escape, making the repurposing of their wombs and the countless Devogate births to follow feel like heaven (or hell). Straight up brain alteration is also on the menu, using super thin feeler tentacles to feed through a victim's ears or nose to hammer away on their resolve directly via filthy, super invasive brain sex. Sometimes they'll do partial vore where they cover a victim's head with one giant tentacle, using it as essentially a feeding tube to both gas their victim into submission and keep them alive. In return, a different solution is pumped up their ass in order to concentrate a woman's magical energy as thick ropes of luminous sludge, which the Devogate feeds on as a semi-renewable energy source when animal prey is unreliable; it's always the most up front with a new host, but it does regenerate slightly over time for continued feedings. Body modification usually follows a victim's captivity one way or another, with the nest making subtle modifications here and there to increase viability as a sow; those who defy the odds and escape might do so with luscious curves prime for fucking if they survived long enough, combined with fertility markers (like a balmy, pheromone laden sweat or lustrous skin and hair) that drive men wild. Matriarchs are no exception to this, having bodies that have been highly developed in every sense of the word. Most Devogate start out in smaller larval forms that look like a fatter, but relatively short tentacle. That's the form they start out in after their genes have been deposited in a girl's ovum, rapidly dividing as they grow and grow. Due to their rapid breeding method, they actually begin splitting off and propagating when they're still in the womb. Thus, one human egg cell can end up turning into dozens of Devogate larva that quickly swell their host's womb. The incubation time is super short as well, meaning that they can be born within a week with multiple liters overlapping one another. That means a host will constantly be giving birth and her belly won't actually shrink at all despite the numerous tentacle births. From there, larva can grow to take on various shapes or functions such as longer tentacles meant for grabbing, sacks filled with aphrodisiac fluid or gas, thin ovipositors, etc. Devogate are capable of linking together into larger conglomerates, such as growing along walls and floors to turn a place (usually cave systems) into a prison made of flesh waiting for unsuspecting prey or grotesque, bestial, tentacle-made combat forms of a larger size. Medium sized forms can also make for a hunting retinue or smaller scouting force for future expansion. While most Devogate forms are not bipedal, the Devogate Matriarch stands perfectly on two feet as a synthesis of host and parasite. The host has been completely infested by tentacles to the point that it's unclear where one ends and the other begins: her brain is long gone, having been entirely replaced with a bundle of Devogate flesh. Meanwhile, most of her body is clad in living armor or clothing meant to evoke the class she used to employ, comprised entirely of tentacles with a hardened exterior and soft insides that constantly stimulate her body. One common point is a partial helmet or eye mask that covers her eyes since she doesn't need them to see anymore, though all Matriarchs have unique appearances and configurations of living clothing. It isn't uncommon for strategic cutouts to deliberately expose some skin, such as the belly, armpits, or thighs, in an attempt to entice human men. The tentacles run beneath the skin too, creating a new decentralized nervous system that means even decapitation isn't fatal. Tentacles can also be deployed from her back as extra appendages for various uses, both lascivious and mundane. Despite being universally nonverbal and incapable of reading, it can't be said that they aren't intelligent: Matriarchs clearly have emotions, aims, and the wherewithal to put plans into motion with startling tact. They are even able to employ the skills and memories of every single woman devoured by that particular nest, essentially being a mental amalgamation of all the information wrung from every victim's head. As such, they can be extremely deadly fighters able to wield both magic and martial arts to a high degree, all with a physicality that's been only improved on by the parasites (both sexually and militarily). The original host's mind is long gone, completely usurped by a new being with their own personality and even will separate from their peers as they seek to expand their domain. Multiple independent Matriarchs can even be made by the same nest if it gets large enough, each an individual rather than just a member of the hive... meaning it's possible for Matriarchs to be in competition with each other as well. Not all Devogate nests have a Matriarch, with many even forgoing their creation to focus on greedy widespread propagation. ALL Devogate forms are extremely susceptible to fire, with controlled burning campaigns being the surefire way to contain their spread. They know it too, with even Matriarchs being wary of open flame though their tentacles can give them a small degree of heat resistance when hardened. It is EXTREMELY important to remember that Devogate Matriarchs are mute! They can only make small vocalizations, never full words. Be very deliberate about the growth of the Devogate as they establish and expand their nest. Also be creative about the forms they might take and how they infest and devour with their insatiable taste for women. Remember: nothing is ever enough for the Devogate. More women, more eggs, more energy, and especially more evolution.
