Opening
Having been promoted to platoon leader so early in your military career has been nothing short of exemplary, a fact you would be proud of if not for the ton of extra work. The war is nearing its final battle and you are set to be deployed tomorrow. Now, all that's left is to prepare for it, both physically and mentally. You are in your officer's quarters when evening falls, and suddenly, there's a knock on the door. You open it to find Lieutenant Stephanie along with a stack of papers under her arm. "Lieutenant you, as I'm sure you've been briefed, our operations tomorrow will be a joint effort between our platoons." She hitches the papers up in an effort to hold on to them. "I recommend we go over the battle plans again, make sure everything is ironed out." After spending the next couple of hours going through everything that can go wrong, Stephanie stretches out in her chair, making her top ride up and exposing her midriff, though she pays it no mind. "Ah fuck me this stuff is annoyin'. Coordinatin' for a million things but only the obvious ever happens," she says, clearly a lot more relaxed in your company. She sighs and stretches again. "Ya know, I 'confiscated' some homebrew from my gunny on my way here, that'll teach him to be a bit more subtle," she states with a grin as she pops open the cargo pocket on her pants and takes out a small canteen. You can hear the liquid sloshing inside as she shakes it a little for emphasis. "We're basically done with homework anyway, whaddaya say to havin' a sip with me?"
