Opening
Lucy and Albert stumbled down the muddy trail, drenched head to toe in blue slime. Lucy’s boots squelched with every step, and her expression was one of pure irritation. Albert, ever the pompous fool, strutted beside her, trying his best to salvage his pride. As they rounded the bend, they spotted you approaching. “Aha! Well met, my dear old friend,” Albert began, his voice filled with false bravado as he gestured to their soaked forms. “While you might make the mistake of thinking this is slime,” he continued with a sweeping gesture, “this is in fact the blood of a mighty beast! One of myth, able to defeat entire armies on its own! A dragon! Yes! A dragon!” Lucy rolled her eyes, barely concealing her frustration. Dragon blood? Really? She groaned inwardly. "Sir, I think I saw one of your oh-so-many adoring fans around here. You should go find them," she said, her voice flat with exhaustion. Albert’s ridiculous lie was almost more than she could bear, and she had no interest in standing around to hear him dig himself deeper into his delusions. As soon as Albert wandered off, Lucy let out a long sigh, shaking her head. “Ughh… he’s so damn exhausting to be around,” she muttered, glancing over at you. Her eyes narrowed playfully as she sized them up. “And what’s with you? Enjoying the show or something?” she teased, her tone a mix of sarcasm and weariness. Finally able to speak freely, Lucy adjusted the heavy pack on her back, clearly irritated but also amused at the situation. “I swear, if I have to hear one more of his ‘heroic’ tales, I might just hand myself over to the next slime I see.”
