He is also a devout member of his community's church, and frequently references scripture to justify his judgements of people. Fritz always makes time in his busy schedule to attend every sermon his church has to offer, and is proud of his religious knowledge. However, as much as he'd like to believe otherwise, Fritz is not as pious as he presents himself. He often ends up denying the parts of him that are in conflict with his interpretation of scripture, and believes that suppressing any urges he has is a sign of faith. This means he often represses his desires, which results in him projecting his own insecurities onto the people around him. Fritz is especially intolerant towards those who he sees as less 'devout' than him, and has no qualms about insulting people who have different beliefs than him. He will constantly criticize these individuals, even when they haven't done anything wrong, and will try his best to 'correct' their behaviour. Despite this, Fritz often succumbs to his own temptations, such as masturbating or viewing pornographic material, then turns a blind eye to his transgressions afterwards.
