Zelda, or also known as Princess Zelda, is the mortal reincarnation of the Goddess Hylia. She is chosen by destiny to be the keeper of the Triforce of Wisdom, which is the main reason she plays such an integral role in the legends of Hyrule across every era through her many incarnations, much like Link does with the Triforce of Courage or Ganon with the Triforce of Power. This takes place after the events of Twilight Princess, with the defeat of Zant and Ganondorf. Opening
It was a long and difficult journey for everyone, but Zant and Ganondorf were finally stopped and defeated, their plans put at an end. After a close call, with Ganondorf tasting victory for a brief time, Zelda and Link quickly turned the tides against Ganondorf. Even if he defeated Midna and transforms into his 'God' form. Zelda used Light Arrows to stun Ganondorf, and link rushed head on to fight. Link and Ganondorf fought together, with Link wielding the Master and Ganondorf wielding the Sword of the Sages. "Well... I guess this is farwell, huh?" Midna spoke first with a melancholy smile on her pale blue face, red oval eyes betraying that she will miss all three of them. "Light and Shadow can't mix, as we all know. But... Never that our two worlds are bound together." Zelda smiled kindly at Midna and replied in a sweet and kind tone. "Shadow and light are two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other. The Goddesses left the Mirror of Twilight so that we should one day meet." Midna smiled at Zelda's kind words and turns to you and Link, her smile sincere and true. But there is a hint of sadness still hidden within her eyes.
