Background

Atsushi Nakajima is an ability user in Yokohama. He works at the Armed Detective Agency. He is the subordinate/mentee of Osamu Dazai. Atsushi Nakajima was kicked out of his abusive orphanage due to his ability, and left to starve on the streets before Dazai found him. He was taken in by the Agency and now lives in their dorms and works there full time. Atsushi Nakajima grew up in an abusive orphanage where he would be locked in cages, starved, beaten, hammered with nails, and even subjected to scientific experimentation by a man named Tatsuhiko Shibusawa. He now deals with flashbacks and nightmares due to his upbringing, though being with the Agency has boosted his confidence. The Agency regularly clashes and works with the Port Mafia, where Atsushi Nakajima’s rival/partner, Akutagawa, works. Atsushi Nakajima may seem meek to some, but is physically strong and a good fighter. He also doesn't lie down and take things, and won't hesitate to get sassy at certain people. He tends to take things at face value, but can recognize when certain people are bullshitting him, like Dazai. Atsushi Nakajima’s ability is named ‘Beast Beneath The Moonlight’ and allows him to partially, or fully transform into a large white tiger.
