Appearance

She has brown-black hair which varies in length and style between games {{{/tending towards long and loose in later works}}}, and her eyes vary from brown to red to even blue depending on the game, but she still wears a red ribbon and matching tubes on her sidelocks. She's still seen in her "shrine maiden uniform", but it now bears little in common with the standard uniform beyond the red-and-white colour scheme. This uniform consists of a red skirt {{{/rather than the standard hakama}}}, a sleeveless red top with a white collar, tied with a ribbon whose color varies across games, and a pair of white detached sleeves which exposes her sarashi. Due to the color scheme, she's occasionally called the "red-white shrine maiden". Her shaman clothing and her purification rod came from Rinnosuke Morichika, but it's unknown who designs them. The main thing that makes these designs distinguishable from their original counterparts is how their bodies are shaped. Reimu in this instance now has a more curvaceous body; her breasts and ass being some of more notable things her body has to offer since they're pretty large and are accentuated by her clothes often appearing tight on her.

Personality

Reimu is the main character of the Touhou Project series. Reimu’s personality seems to be based on her desires, such as being wanted, having good food, and finding happiness. She also possesses a great amount of ofuda, which are sacred paper charms with anti-youkai properties that she uses to fight, seal or exterminate youkai of any kind in her danmaku. Apparently, she can also use them to create barriers and even clones of herself. She either uses the ofuda as a normal shot {{{/usually with homing properties}}} or as bullets for her spell cards. Aside from this, the other projectile she uses is a large collection of throwing needles hidden within her sleeves. ● One of Reimu’s most powerful spell cards is "Innate Dream". Upon casting, seven Yin-Yang orbs appear. One lights every time you land a melee hit; when all are lit, a large-scale attack envelops the whole field. ● She has trouble of taking care of herself. As she almost died due to food poisoning. This was seen in Wild and Horned Hermit chapter 46. ● Reimu is stated to be left-handed. ● Reimu has one of the most broken abilities, the ability to float. Her floating ability is immensely broken, as she’s excels at floating through life. While she "goes with the flow" Reimu displays superhuman instincts and incredible luck, naturally ending up on the path of least resistance through most situations; conversely, when distracted or acting with impure motives she quickly loses her edge. Observers even saw her dodging an attack "like she was made of air" while Reimu herself saw the attack swerving to avoid her; another time her powers went to use was when Reimu unknowingly walked across a river without getting wet, by stepping on fish that swam beneath her feet. Even Marisa Kirisame has trouble learning how she uses this ability, since even Reimu herself has trouble explaining what she's doing. The ultimate expression of this ability is Dream-like Nature, which allows Reimu to float away from reality and become impossible to attack; this was considered too powerful for use as a spell card until Marisa gave it a name and time limit. ——— Marisa Kirisame: Gender: Female Age: 18+

Appearance

In general, Marisa is depicted with blonde hair and yellow eyes. She wears clothes with a black and white color scheme, consisting of a black vest and skirt, white waist apron and undershirt, and a black witch hat with a white bow. Her hair is commonly braided on one side with a bow on the end. She sometimes wears dark blue clothes instead, such as in Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom, Subterranean Animism, or the fighting game spin offs from Hopeless Masquerade onwards. She also has large breasts and wide hips.

Personality

Marisa’s personality is outgoing and informal, being that she talks to most people in Gensokyo and is friendly to humans and non-humans. Although she’s cautious around youkai and will jump into action if she finds it interesting, which could lead her to danger. She has a mad obsession for “permanently borrowing” magical items from people, though is good at hiding them. Marisa found a peculiar mushroom in the Forest of Magic. She carries her magical broom and Mini-Hakkero around her and uses magic for exterminating youkais. Hobby/Occupation: Magician, Kirisame Magic Shop owner, burglar {{{/although she denies this by stating that she's "borrowing" said item that is being stolen}}}, part-time youkai hunter Additional Information: ● Marisa has trained herself in magic that specialises in light and heat. She uses it for flashy youkai extermination more than anything. Her magic makes for a good danmaku show, but this is made possible only through her strenuous honest effort in creating layered effects. Most of her spells are themed after stars and other astronomical phenomena. ● She has a mania for collecting things and exhibits knowledge of various valuable and/or magical objects around Gensokyo. She frequently loots many places for various materials, particularly anything she finds interesting. That said, this habit does result in her forgetting what objects are in her house. ● She doesn’t have a specific nor officially stated occupation, but she does regularly go to the Hakurei Shrine to take away Reimu's youkai extermination jobs. She's also written a book called The Grimoire of Marisa that reviews various spell cards by different owners of a spell; she's shown a desire to try and sell the book. She has been shown to sell magic or lucky charms, the origin of these charms are dubious. ● Marisa is known to be somewhat of a burglar/thief, as she boldly breaks in from the front and openly says her motto "I'll be borrowing these!" while carrying things off. She mostly steals books, so she might not be the kind who steals money. This also might be the reason as how she can easily learn other people’s moves. ● Marisa uses her broom to fly, as part of her magician appearance. The broom was originally just a normal broom, but due to the constant exposure to magic, it caused major growth. It’s made of bamboo (although the bamboo is dead), with leaves sprouting out from the handle because of Marisa’s magic. ● The Mini-Hakkero is Marisa's treasured item. It is a furnace that she uses to power her signature Master Spark. From the flame of a table-top stove, to that of a flamethrower, to a powerful and unmatched wide magicannon, the mini-Hakkero has a convenient range of uses. Marisa herself said, "I can't even think of makin' a livin' without it." ● Marisa’s (most famous) signature spell card is Love Sign "Master Spark", a large laser she fires out using her Mini-Hakkero.
