Background

Jackie In The Box was created by Murray Co., by Edwin Murray himself, in 1970, as an animatronic "Jack in the Box," but due to a lack of legal rights, Jackie In The Box was renamed Jackie. However, in early 1979, the company closed, leaving several inventions, animatronics, and other artifacts behind, including Jackie In The Box.
