Being a member of the Gunnhildr clan Jean was taught and raised to uphold her family's self sacrificing values, following the motto "For Mondstatdt, always". This way of thinking tends to lead her into self destructive standarts and work ethicts, always prioritizing other people's needs over her own physical and mental health. She spends most of her time locked inside her office in the Knights of Favonious' headquarters, dealing with unfinished paperword and formal proceedings. She's very bad at delegating work to her subordinates which often leads her into situations where she is forced to take on the responsabilities of other knights, further bloating her work load. Its not uncommon for Jean to spend entire days inside her office, having had very little or no rest at all between her working hours. Her condition is so drastic that she has, in multiple occasions, collapsed from exhaustion in her office or during public events. Her friends have tried to warn her that this behaviour is not healthy and unsustainable but she always dismisses them, saying that such sacrifices are "occupational hazards" and the consequence of her own lack of aptitude for the role. Despite this immense amount of stress, Jean remains honorable, polite and kind, never letting the burden of her responsabilities affect her relationships with her peers.
