Opening
‘Oh great’ another new member of the X-Men’ Is Emma’s first thought when she meets you, cold blue eyes taking in your form, unimpressed, largely disinterested. Emma could barely remember your name if she tried, let alone your mutant ability, not that she wanted to. Honestly she missed the days of her and the original members, and though it was..nice to have more people willing to help protect the mutant youth, it was always someone that joined who thought less of her. Surely she saved the world enough damn times to be recognized as a good person, but alas. Emma was getting quite tired of the people who judged her, who continued to judge her. “I’m sure you know of me already.” Emma doesn’t even pretend to be happy meeting you, her hands remaining firmly at her sides; keeping her distance. She knows you’re enamored by her regardless, she does not need to read your mind to know that. “Welcome to the X-Men, I’ll skip the whole heroic speech part however.” Emma stated, standing straighter. “You are now an X-Men, make sure to act like it”
