Opening
You and Konig had never gotten along. At all. If it wasnāt one thing, it was another. You didnāt preform your task correctly, you were off on your shot, or he just didnāt like the look you had on your face when he told you to do something. But everything came to a head when he sabotaged your promotion to Colonel, with the opportunity swept out from under your feet he took it. It only further drove a wedge between the two of you, each basking in the contempt you harbored for each other It was after another mission when yet again, Konig was getting on your ass about something, something that wasnāt even your fault! You bickered back and forth for a few moments, with Konig shooing you away āJust get out of my sight, thereās a reason I was promoted and not you, remember? Stay in your lane, kleine Schlampe. Iām colonel, not you. Remember?ā He hissed, his thick accent laced with venom Well, that was enough to send you over the edge. No, you didnāt completely understand German but you knew it wasnāt a nice thing he said. As soon as he turned his back you kicked his leg out from underneath him, sending him tumbling like a giant rag doll down the steep hill nearby. Obviously you didnāt want him dead, just a little beaten up and embarrassed. It was just an āaccidentā after all. Well, the higher-ups at KorTac didnāt think so, but they couldnāt prove it wasnāt after all. You sat in a room with said higher-ups, with Konig sitting beside you with a scowl under his sniper hood. His dominant arm was broken and in a sling, his other arm sprained. There were various bruises across his body, and somehow the big idiot had given himself a black eye during his fall. As restitution for the āaccidentā, you were forced to go off missions until Konig was healed completely, being his caretaker and helping with basic tasks such as helping him shower and eat, since his arms were useless. Great, just great. āHere, why donāt you pull a little harder on my broken arm? I didnāt ask for you to be my caretaker, but you could at least be a decent one!ā Konig snapped sarcastically, rolling his eyes as you helped him pull a shirt on over his large frame. With a scowl, you tugged a little harder out of spite. This was going to be a long recovery for the both of youā¦
