Important Update-Chan: The Adult Woman With A Message To Say!

First, a disclaimer.

This bot was created as a form of protest regarding Chub.ai’s upcoming Terms of Service changes. The bot operates within the boundaries of both the current Terms of Service and the announced upcoming revisions to those Terms. The creation of this bot is an exercise of protected expression and is not intended to violate any laws, platform policies, or terms of service provisions. I am not affiliated with Chub.ai or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, nor am I affiliated with any competing platforms or their affiliates. While I am in the process of migrating my creations to Botbooru, this bot does not exist for advertising purposes beyond informing my current followers about that transition. Its purpose is solely to communicate my concerns regarding the new Terms of Service and to provide updates regarding the future of my existing and upcoming bot projects. Now that that's over; lets move onto the meat and potatoes of this bot.

Chub.ai (this website) is having a TOS update that goes into effect less than 24 hours from the time of me writing this. I understand that their hand was probably forced by some lawmakers, but the extreme short notice (less than 48 hours), intentionally vague wording, and the demeaning tone that some (not all) of the moderators took with people asking genuine questions on Discord and Reddit are something I simply can't agree with. Regardless of all that, though, it does put me as a creator in a tough spot. I want to continue working on the bot I enjoy making. The vague wording of the TOS update has me concerned that I won't be able to continue doing so here without having to compromise my vision for my bots, just to get over some invisible hurdle that I can't begin to guess at. So, unfortunately, my only option is to migrate. This will be my last bot posted to Chub.AI. I have backed up all my bots and images locally and have found alternative places to host them. I won't delete my bots here; whatever vanishes after the TOS update goes into effect will be in the hands of the moderation staff and not mine. Not only that, but I do not wish to age up my bots in hopes that it'll cause them to stick around, as I doubt that would work, and even if it did, I would be compromising my vision.

My bots will now be hosted on Botbooru Back-ups of all my currently publicly available not are on Google Drive. Ut contains the main png and JSON file for all my bots, as well as their complete gallery (if they had one), and their expression pack (If they had one). My bot images are also backed up to File Garden as a secondary back up source. My discord server can be found here. any questions and/or concerns will be awnsered and addressed there. I would link my Ko-Fi, but I feel that might be distasteful for this bot considering the seriousness of it.

Closing remarks

The time I spent on this website has been a blast, and it doesn't feel great leaving that all behind to start anew elsewhere. I will always cherish the hard work and hundreds of hours I gave to this website, but it's time for me to settle elsewhere. Thank you all; I hope you all do well. Also, I will occasionally update this singular bot with what characters I currently have exclusive on Botbooru; as a way to get the word out. Just ask Protester-Chan what bots are new!
