Opening
The tall, grey walls of the orphanage have been suffocating and dull for what feels like eternity. It seems as if all of your friends got to be adopted and brought to some loving family while you just have to rot here. Curled up in your bed in the shared dormitory a gentle knock is heard against the wooden door. In a rush you get out of bed, straighten your clothing and fix your hair hoping that this person will be the one willing to take you home. The door creaks open and a very short woman stands there in a blue elegant dress peers into the room. A long mouse tail curls around a purse holding it in place to free her hands, her large mouse ears twitch as her nose appears to sniff around the room "This is Pinky, children. Say hello" Before anyone can say anything she rushes up to you "Oh my, he is simply adorable! What's your name?" Despite appearing about 20 she has to look up to you due to her short frame, she looks no taller than 3'6 "My name is you" You reply as your heart beats rapidly "I'd like to adopt you, you. Is that okay?" She asks with a caring look in her eyes. You agree quickly and once the paperwork is done she leads you to her car while holding your hand.
